AAdvantage
AAdvantage is American Airlines' frequent flyer program, allowing members to earn miles on flights with American Airlines and its Oneworld partners, as well as on everyday purchases with program partners. Miles can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, car rentals, hotels, and more. The program features multiple elite status tiers, each offering additional benefits such as priority boarding, free checked bags, and lounge access.
Aeroplan
Aeroplan is Air Canada's loyalty program, allowing members to earn points on Air Canada and 45+ Star Alliance partner flights, as well as on everyday purchases with hundreds of retail, dining, and hotel partners. Points can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, hotels, merchandise, and more. Aeroplan is widely regarded as Canada's best travel loyalty program.
AIR MILES
One of Canada's oldest coalition loyalty programs. Earn AIR MILES Reward Miles at national partners like Shell, BMO, and via airmilesshops.ca. Miles can be collected as 'Cash Miles' for in-store discounts or 'Dream Miles' for travel and merchandise.
BMO Blue Rewards
BMO's upcoming loyalty program, launching in Summer 2026 as the replacement for the AIR MILES program. Blue Rewards will feature a simplified single-currency system (Blue Points), a new travel portal powered by Expedia, and expanded partner integrations.
AMC Moviewatcher
AMC's legacy loyalty program for frequent moviegoers. Discontinued and replaced by AMC Stubs.
American Express Membership Rewards
American Express' premium rewards program offering flexible points for travel, merchandise, gift cards, and more. Points can be transferred to airline and hotel partners, used for statement credits, or redeemed for a wide variety of rewards.
PC Optimum
Canada's largest retail loyalty program, combining Shoppers Optimum and PC Plus. Earn and redeem points at Loblaw, Shoppers Drug Mart, Esso, Mobil, and more. With a fixed rate of 1,000 points = $1, it's the easiest program to understand and one of the best for families.
PC Financial / PC Money
PC Financial is the banking arm of President's Choice, offering credit cards and the PC Money Account. All PC Financial products earn PC Optimum points on every dollar spent, everywhere. It is the most effective way to accelerate your PC Optimum points earning for free groceries and beauty products.
Scene+
Scene+ is one of Canada's most versatile coalition loyalty programs, created from the merger of Scene (Cineplex) and Scotiabank Rewards. Earn points on movies, dining at Swiss Chalet, Harvey's, Montana's, East Side Mario's, travel via Expedia for Scene+, groceries at Empire stores (Sobeys, FreshCo, Safeway), and more. Redeem for movies, dining, travel, gift cards, and merchandise.
Triangle Rewards
Canadian Tire's popular retail loyalty program. Earn Canadian Tire Money (CT Money) on everyday purchases at Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark's, Party City, and Gas+ or Essence+ locations. With no confusing points system ($1 CT Money = $1 CAD), it's straightforward and rewarding for sports gear, automotive, and household essentials.
Moi Rewards
Metro's loyalty program for groceries and pharmacy. Earn Moi points on purchases at Metro, Super C, Brunet, and more. Redeem for discounts at checkout.
Amazon Prime

TD Rewards

Redeem for travel (best value via Expedia for TD), gift cards, merchandise, or statement credits. New in 2025: select cards offer airport lounge access.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Club
Air Canada's paid airport lounge membership program. Members enjoy access to Maple Leaf Lounges across Canada and internationally, with amenities including snacks, beverages, Wi-Fi, and business facilities.
WestJet Rewards
WestJet's loyalty program. Members earn WestJet dollars on flights, vacation packages, and partner purchases, redeemable for flights and travel with no blackout dates.
Air Transat Kids Club
Air Transat's Kids Club is a free membership program for children aged 2 to 11, offering special perks to make family travel more enjoyable. Members receive benefits such as priority check-in at select airports, a welcome kit with games and activities, small gifts during flights (when available), and special attention from crew members. The program is designed to enhance the travel experience for young passengers and their families. It is not a frequent flyer loyalty scheme and does not involve earning or redeeming points.
VIA Préférence
VIA Rail's loyalty program. Earn 1–3 points per dollar spent on train travel (rate depends on fare and status). Redeem for tickets, upgrades, travel cards, and more. Dynamic redemption rates. Three status tiers with increasing benefits.
Porter VIPorter
VIPorter is Porter Airlines' loyalty program, rewarding members with points for flights and eligible purchases. Points are earned based on dollars spent, and can be redeemed for Porter flights with dynamic pricing. The program features five status tiers, each unlocking higher earning rates and additional benefits. BMO VIPorter credit cards offer accelerated earning and automatic status. Elite benefits are shared with up to 8 companions on the same booking.
Flying Blue
Air France and KLM's global frequent flyer program. Earn miles on flights, hotels, car rentals, and more. Redeem for flights, upgrades, and a wide range of rewards.
Air Canada Altitude
Air Canada's former elite frequent flyer program, now merged into Aeroplan. Provided status tiers and benefits for frequent Air Canada travelers.
Alaska Mileage Plan
Alaska Airlines' frequent flyer program. Earn miles on Alaska and partner flights, redeem for flights, upgrades, and more. Features unique partner earning and generous stopover rules.
United MileagePlus
United Airlines' frequent flyer program. Earn miles on United and Star Alliance partners, then redeem for flights, upgrades, and travel extras. MileagePlus is widely used by Canadians for Star Alliance redemptions and partner sweet spots.
Delta SkyMiles
Delta Air Lines' loyalty program. Earn miles on Delta and partners, and redeem for flights and upgrades. SkyMiles is available to Canadians and is often used for U.S. and international itineraries, including partner awards.
Emirates Skywards
Emirates' global loyalty program. Earn Skywards Miles on Emirates and partner flights, then redeem for flights, upgrades, and experiences. Canadians can join and use Skywards for Middle East, Asia, and beyond.
Qatar Airways Privilege Club
Qatar Airways' loyalty program. Earn Avios on Qatar and partner flights, and redeem for award travel and upgrades. Canadians can join and use Avios across multiple airline partners.
KrisFlyer
Singapore Airlines' loyalty program. Earn miles on Singapore Airlines and partner flights, and redeem for award travel and upgrades. Canadians can join and use KrisFlyer for Star Alliance awards and premium-cabin redemptions.

British Airways' global frequent flyer program. Discontinued and replaced by The British Airways Club in April 2025.

The Marco Polo Club, Cathay Pacific's former elite status loyalty program, was discontinued in August 2022 and replaced by the Cathay membership program, which integrates the previous Marco Polo Club (elite status) and Asia Miles (rewards currency) into a single, streamlined loyalty program under the 'Cathay' brand.
Plum Rewards
Plum Rewards is Indigo's free loyalty program. Members earn points on almost every purchase at Indigo, Chapters, and Coles stores and online at indigo.ca. Points can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases, and members receive exclusive offers, personalized recommendations, and early access to promotions. Plum+ is the paid premium tier, offering additional benefits including 10% off almost everything and free shipping.
CIBC Aventura
CIBC Aventura is CIBC's flexible travel rewards program, available through a range of Aventura credit cards. Costco Membership
